The Naha City Tsuboya Pottery Museum and Naha Culture and Art Theater Naha will jointly host an exhibition of contemporary ceramics artists active in Okinawa. There are many potters in Okinawa prefecture, but their diverse expressions are not well known, probably because of the image of Okinawan ceramics that became established after the post-war reconstruction period. At this exhibition, nine potters will create new works on the theme of Okinawan ceramics, which will be exhibited at 2 different venues. At this exhibition, you can enjoy the diversity of Okinawan ceramics, the possibilities of expression, and the expression of Okinawa's unique soil.
