Events related to “Shima's Earthenware ~ Hajimari and Korecara ~” will be held at the Naha City Tsuboya Pottery Museum from 11/3 to 12/27.
Earthenware is said to be the first invention to which humans applied a chemical reaction, and it drastically changed human life. What kind of history did earthenware, which is the beginning of pottery, trace on the Ryukyu islands? And how does earthenware live in the present day? “Shima's Earthenware ~Hajimari and Korekara~” is an exhibition that thinks about earthenware from the past to the present.
