From 1969 to 1972, they watch the documentary video “Asia Is One” (1973, produced in 2023 with Japanese subtitles) by the NDU (Japan Documentarists Union) before and after Okinawa's return to Japan, and get to know, learn, and talk about the lives and conditions of people in Okinawa at that time and in Taiwan and Korea, which were Japanese colonies in the past. Also, through the screening report of the same film held in Taiwan's Yilan County (Nan'ao Village) on 2023/10/29, we will think about the lives, history, and culture of people in Japan and Taiwan 50 years ago and in modern society. Furthermore, this event was co-hosted with an exchange meeting with Taiwanese aborigines (30th anniversary commemorative project).
