●Talk Event “Takane Tsuyoshi and the Geniuses: A Dream Afternoon”

Director Takane Tsuyoshi from Ishigaki Island, who is the winner of the “1st Mavui Special Award,” and members of the cast and staff have a dreamily, pleasant and suspicious talk while remembering the time of filming. What is the appeal of Takane movies made by a diverse group of faces, from major figures of Okinawan play to critics, architects, and editors? The content can be enjoyed by both core enthusiasts and beginners.

Christopher Makoto Yogi from Honolulu is currently one of the hottest indie film directors in the world. Kamiya Joseph Yoshimasu was born in Los Angeles and co-produced, composed, and edited the film “Rejection of Our Ancestors.” Two people who are 4th generation prefectures with Okinawan roots think about the meaning of making a film as the world's Uchinanchu.

●Talk Event “The Boy in “Running Boy” Is Now - The Growth of Children in the Movie”

The famous Iranian master Amir Naderi, who is the head of the jury for this film festival, takes Majid Nirmand, who played the leading role in the 1985 Nantes Three Continents Film Festival Grand Prix winning film “Running Boy,” and narrates the secret story of the shooting. The aftermath of the boy whose life changed as a result of the movie is now revealed. A small talk event where MAKIYA Tsutomu (Okinawa Archived video Research Institute) and Taira Ryuji (NPO Cinema Lab Breakthrough Kozo), who are members of the Shuri Gekijo (Movie Theater) Research Team, and film director Lim Kawai, who performed the location of the Shuri Gekijo (Movie Theater) for the movie “Your Smile,” talk about the story of the Shuri Gekijo (Movie Theater) called “Okinawa's Last Wooden Theater,” which was dismantled last month, and their feelings for movie theaters.
