Public performances began in the late 70s. An original member of “Suki Suki Switch,” “PUNGO,” and “Whale.”
In the 80s, my favorite switch “You Can Forget It” was published from Telegram Records. Guitars and songs under personal names. There are also several productions (Suyama Kumiko, Circumcision, etc.).
In 1992, the activities of “Friends of Despair” were suspended. Labor and child care.
After 2011/3/11, while rebuilding relationships and lives, “singing and performances, etc.” resumed from “public practice” at Koenji Enban.
In 2013, 3 new CDs were simultaneously announced as “Suki Suki Switch.” Since then, he has been working alone or under the leadership of “Sato Yukio and Us.”
A CD-RW 24-disc set with one song from the record of the live performance “Basic Mainichi” performed at the rental conference room in Kanda in 2016/10 as Yukio Sato, “No Name Yet.”
The CD “We” by Yukio Sato and Us (in a trio of POP Suzuki (DS, VO) and Rei Shibakusa (pf, vo)) was announced in 2018/3. “We 2” was announced in February 2019. Both are from Alchemy Records.
From February to March 2019, the “A Man Called Sato Yukio Exhibition” will be held at Nishi-Ogikubo Nihiru Beef.
