“Ryukyu History and Culture Day” on 11/1 was established in 2021 to deepen understanding of the history and culture of Okinawa created by our predecessors, work to form local communities where pride and attachment to one's hometown can be felt, and the citizens of the prefecture decide to create new history and culture with their own hands. On the day of the event, children will present karate, kobudo, and Ryukyu dance.

(2) Stage performance (special performance directed by Megumi Tomita)
Theme “Ryukyu Kingdom Songs and Dances”
Dance performances by elementary and middle school students who have been working hard to practice for about 1 month,
Dances featuring songs that won prizes in the Ryuka Contest, etc.
It depicts a fun and glamorous stage, as if you have traveled back in time to the Ryukyu Kingdom.
