Alexandra Yarosh (born and living in Poland), who studies Nikolai A. Nevsky (1892-1937), a linguist known for her research on the Ainu language and the Miyako dialect, is visiting Okinawa. They talk about how Nevsky's “Miyako Dialect Notes” were deciphered and published, and Nevsky and Myak Normal. An opinion exchange session was also held after the performance.
