Shinoda Tokou
Born in 1913 in Dalian, China. He went to America in '56 and has held solo exhibitions in various places based in New York. After returning to Japan in '58, he worked on lithographs, bindings, titles, and essays on other major works such as murals and wall calligraphy.
Koike Shoko
Production began in the 1970s, and has held numerous exhibitions up to now and has received numerous awards. The “Shellfish Vessels” series, which is a masterpiece, has a unique worldview with supple and bold shapes
Ogawa Machiko
Born in Sapporo in 1946. From 1970 to 1976, he studied ceramics in Paris and all over Africa. It is characterized by works that make use of negative properties, such as cracks and chips, and frizzy glaze, which have been denied in conventional pottery.
