●Traditional procession “Ryukyu Dynasty Festival Shuri”
The “traditional procession” is a reproduction of the “Mikadera Pilgrimage” procession where the King of Ryukyu visits the three temples under Shuri Castle to pray for the country's well-being and Gokoku hojo (A pray for an abundant grain harvest). Depart from Shurijo Castle Park and parade through Shuri Castle.

The king and queen, dressed in bright costumes, appear in front of the Hoshin Gate.

●Ryukyu Dynasty Picture Scroll Procession held for the first time in 4 years
A gorgeous scene from the Ryukyu Dynasty is recreated as one large emaki trench. Starting with the procession of the King and Queen of Ryukyu, the procession of the Chinese emissary “zakuho envoy,” and traditional performing arts troupes continue, a spectacular world with a total of about 350 people unfolds.

You can take a close look at the main hall, which is undergoing restoration.

Reviving Shuri Castle Protection Association memorial performance

They performed unwavering traditions and dynamic performing arts by the “Association to Protect the Reiwa Shuri Castle,” which was formed to pray for the reconstruction of Shuri Castle in Reiwa.

Modern Gumi Dance Challenge “New Traditional Performing Arts” -Supervised by Daiichi Hirata-

They performed the creative performing art “modern version of gumi dance,” which arranges the traditional Okinawan performing art “gumi dance” with contemporary music, choreography, and lines.
