Lecturer: Akamine Masanobu (Professor Emeritus, University of the Ryukyus)
Akamine Masanobu has continued to go to Kudaka Island for over 40 years, and has carefully recorded the state of rituals and people's lives. In this lecture, we will focus on issues surrounding the existence of women as Kaminchu, symbolized by Isaiho, and the state of men who have been remarkably active as excellent Uminchu since the Ryukyu Kingdom period.
