Since Yonabaru was a key point of transportation that supported the movement of people and goods from the Meiji period onwards, it became an important base for the military during the war, and both the military and civilians suffered major damage. The nine pillars that remain in the Yonabaru station building have also continued to look at the changing appearance of Yonabaru before and after the war. This summer, once again, we will learn about Yonabaru's match against Okinawa.
