Using an early masterpiece of dark dance and the sense of beauty derived from gay culture as a foothold, Kawaguchi pursues a wide range of possibilities for performances delusional about tomorrow's dance (dance), and has received high praise both domestically and internationally. We will challenge new works centered around awareness of issues related to identity and gender, which have been placed at the core of our activities until now, and “dance,” which has been intensively researched in recent years. Starting from the 60's masterpiece “Rose Dance - A LA MAISONDE M. CIVEZAWA (Towards Mr. Shibusawa's House)” by Hijikata Tatsumi, one of the founders of dark dance, it does not nostalgically look back on history or deify it, critically examines it from a modern perspective, and opens up new possibilities for 21st-century dance. A dark show that is far from the bottom up bright.
