A place of cultural exchange hosted by the Korean Embassy in Japan and co-hosted by local governments in Korea, Japan, and local governments of both countries in order to build a closer partnership by deepening the friendly cooperative relationship between Korea, Japan, and the two countries. The 10th is set in Okinawa this year. At this event, you can enjoy a variety of impressive live stages, such as K-pop and taekwondo performances from Korea, Sanshin (Three-string guitar) of traditional Okinawan culture from Japan, Shi-shi mai (Lion dance performance) dances and Eisa performances, and rappers who are very popular among young people. At the Naha Cultural Arts Theater Nahato, which is the venue, booths introducing Korean culture and “Korea Photogenic,” which is rapidly rising in popularity among young people, will be exhibited in the large theater foyer space. You can experience “connecting” and “having fun” with Korea.
