For the first time in 4 years, a stage where you can enjoy classical hula and modern hula at once will be held by Halau Hula Kalakaua, who inherits the hula of Hawaii's living national treasure Uncle George Naope.
Part 1: Classic Hula “Kamehameha Monogatari”
Classic hula (kahiko) is a historical drama based on the themes of the gods of Hawaii and the great King Kamehameha.
Part 2: Modern Hula
A number of beautiful contemporary hula (auanas) performed by a live band on Hawaiian music.
