Documentary closely related to the lone rock band “THE FOOLS,” which has been active in the Japanese underground scene since the 1980s. Formed in 1980, THE FOOLS sincerely embodies rock, centered around famous guitarist Kawada Ryo and vocalist Ito Ko, who gives off a unique presence, and has influenced many artists. Takahashi Shinichi, who is known as the director of “Cu-Bop CUBA New York Music Documentary,” which depicts the Cuban music situation, and has been fascinated by THE FOOLS since he was a teenager, has been closely following them for about 10 years from 2012. It shows their turbulent lives and deaths, such as repeated arrests due to drugs, members' successive deaths from illness, and Ito's death in prison.
