The project “Message in a Bottle: Life on Island. Outgoing from the island.” An exhibition of achievements. In this project, we are proceeding with two projects: a lecture and an exhibition on the theme of “island life.” First, in the course “Message in a Bottle Island/Pick Up”, we invite Miyagi Nana (weaver) and Shiroma Asami (film director, representative of Kaiensha) as lecturers to conduct workshops and fieldwork (2022/8/27-9/9), and then this exhibition will be held with the exhibition “Message in a Bottle Island/Compose” as a presentation of results by participants attending the course. From within “island life,” where do you focus your perspective and what do you convey? Dialogue with visitors is repeated through the exhibition of materials and products obtained through field work.
