“Yume Pa” is a nickname for “Kawasaki Children's Dream Park,” a playground for children located in Takatsu Ward, Kawasaki City, Kanagawa Prefecture. It was created in collaboration between the public and private sectors based on the “Kawasaki City Ordinance on Children's Rights” enacted in 2000. In addition to a play park area, a music studio, creative space, and a room where you can spend time rumbling, a “free space en” for children who have not gone to school has been established on a large site of about 10,000 square meters using the factory site. It is used by children of all ages, from preschoolers to high school students.

The film “Yume Pa no Jikan” is a documentary film that follows the three years here. On the day before the “Convention on the Rights of the Child Forum 2022 in Naha/Okinawa,” a film screening and talk event was held with 3 speakers: Yoshiki Shigee, the director of the movie “Yume Pa no Jikan,” Nishino Hiroyuki, who is involved in the founding of Yume Pa and still serves as a general advisor, and Kyoko Shoho, who has been carrying out various activities for local children for 40 years in the Kamagasaki district of Nishinari-ku, Osaka-shi I will. The director and the practitioners of whereabouts talk about what kind of place is a place where a child is placed in the middle, including movie secrets.
