An exhibition of old photographs relating to Shuri Castle from the “Mori Masazo Collection” collected by the Okinawa Churashima Foundation. Mori Masazo (1895-1981) is a Ministry of Education engineer involved in the restoration of cultural properties in Okinawa, and left about 300 materials such as drawings, photographs, rubbings, repair materials, etc. related to buildings. In this exhibition, 9 photographs taken by Mori Masazo were selected and exhibited. You can see the state of Shuri Castle and surrounding buildings before the war.
