A green anole capture experience tour hosted by the Okinawa Prefecture Environment Department Nature Conservation Division will be held at Manko Park. The green anole is an invasive alien species that was introduced to Okinawa from North America and became wild, and lives mostly in Naha City and Tomigusuku City. Currently, the Okinawa Prefecture Nature Conservation Division has designated green anole as a priority control species in the “Okinawa Prefecture Countermeasure Species List” and is carrying out control. You can experience activities to protect the precious nature of Okinawa.

Intended audience:Elementary and junior high school students living on the Okinawa main island and their families and guardians
