This is the 5th and last exhibition of works sleeping in warehouses that have been held simultaneously at several locations in the prefecture for each era. Works from later years that have an even stronger message are lined up.

MAKI SHITSUTOMU MAKISHI TSUTOMU (1941-2015)
Born in Naha City, Okinawa Prefecture. Graduated from Tama Art University's Western-style painting department. I stayed in New York for a year shortly after returning to the mainland. After returning home, he is based in Okinawa and holds a solo exhibition almost every year. He presides over the painting class “Pen and House,” and has produced many students. Known by the nickname of TOM MAX, he is a painter who has looked at the narrowness of Okinawa and continued to draw throughout his life.
