Lecturer: Toru Itaya (Onna Village History Edition Committee Member, Professor Emeritus, Okinawa Prefectural University of Arts)
In Onna Village, the Honen Honensai (Harvest festival) is held around 8/15 in the Old calendar for each administrative district in the village, and it has been inherited locally even now. Mr. Itaya, who served as the supervisor of the video recording preservation project of the Honen Honensai (Harvest festival) in the village, will be invited as a lecturer, and the characteristics and regionality of the Honen Honensai (Harvest festival) in Onna Village will be introduced, and the deliverable “Seragaki no Honen Honensai (Harvest festival)” produced by the video recording preservation project will be screened.
