Since ancient times, in Okinawa, settlements were built at the foot of a forest on a hill in the northeast direction to prevent cold northerly winds, and it is said that the forest was called “Kusatimui (Koshito Forest).” In this exhibition, Hiroshi Tada and Yutaka Ono, who have worked on plant space production and garden design all over the country, including Okinawa, brought multiple gajumaru trees to the lobby to express ancient forests. Works by sculptor Katsuyuki Gibo are installed in it, and a dynamic and unique exhibition is realized where you can appreciate the sculptures while walking in the woods.
