Ryukyu dyeing and weaving developed during the Kingdom period was positioned as a specialty product of Okinawa prefecture in modern times, and industrialization and modernization progressed. I will introduce how Okinawan dyeing and weaving changed under this influence through dyed and woven products made from the Meiji to Showa periods.
