About 40 new works photographed in everyday life in recent years are on display. Nomura moved from Tokyo to Okinawa in November 2020. Surrounded by strong contrasting rays and vivid colors that can be said to be obscene, the land of Okinawa, which makes you feel life and death intensely, is the roots of her own mother's side, and has been shooting for many years since “DEEP SOUTH” in 1999 It is also a special land for Nomura. Amid restrictions on movement due to the COVID-19 pandemic, what did Nomura look at and think about, who continues to live and produce while being embraced by the land of Okinawa?

●Profile
NOMURA Keiko
Born in Kobe, Hyogo prefecture. Dropped out of the English department of Doshisha Women's College of Liberal Arts, and graduated from Osaka Visual Arts College. After graduation, he went to the United States. Learn photography at LA, Santa Fe. In 1999, Little More released an Okinawa-themed photo book “DEEP SOUTH”. A photo exhibition of the same name was held at Shibuya PARCO GALLERY. The work, which was powerfully spun from the dense and painful feeling that exudes from people and landscapes, and its unique sense of color, was highly evaluated. In addition to “Monthly Mitsushima Hikari” and “Monthly Tomite Masao,” a number of individual works, collaboration works, and books on interviews related to travel, music, and food have also been published in the photo collection taken down by the actor. In 2000, he won the Photographic Society of Japan Newcomer Award and the Higashikawa Award New Artist Award. In 2019, he won the Hayashi Tadahiko Photo Award, which is also one of the three major photo awards in Japan, for the photo book “0tari-Pristine Peaks Mountain Spirit Garden”. There are also many solo and group exhibitions held both domestically and internationally. Currently, he lives in Okinawa prefecture.
