Kikuko Kanai was born in Miyako-gun, Okinawa prefecture (now Miyakojima City). In 1940, she was the first Japanese woman to compose a symphony, and devoted her life to music and Okinawa to let the world know the wonders of Okinawan music. The authentic opera “Okinawa Monogatari” won the Ryukyu Government Award, Okinawa's warabe song “Jinjin” won the Record Award Nursery Rhyme Award, and the Takarazuka Snow Group performance “Nakijin Castle Monogatari” and the United States starring Marlon Brando set in Okinawa He is in charge of the music for the movie “August 15 Night Chaya,” and also composed the Okinawa return celebration overture “Hibataki (Hibataki),” which was premiered at the Okinawa Return Memorial Ceremony 50 years ago, which likened the appearance of Okinawa returning to its homeland to the legendary Great Eagle. He also made achievements in his writing activities, such as publishing “Ryukyu Folk Song,” which is a transcription of Okinawan folk songs, and received the Mainichi Publishing Culture Award.

Hitomi Kora (p)
A pianist from Okinawa prefecture. In 2006, the CD Kanai Kikuko released the complete collection of piano songs “Ryukyu Kachashi,” which became the world's first recording, and Kanai Kikuko's wind music collection “The Sound of Okinawa” in 2009. Received the 2002 Okinawa Times Art Selection Award Encouragement Award.

Naha Boys and Girls Choir
A choir for boys and girls led by leader Chihoko Takasato.

Miyagi Satsuki (narrator)
A freelance announcer from Okinawa prefecture. Former Ryukyu Asahi Broadcasting Press Department announcer. Currently, he is freelance and is active in narration and reading aloud.
