While empirically examining historical events in Japan and abroad, Fujii has always tried to respond to the social issues of the same era by bringing in current perspectives. Until now, Yamashiro has produced works based on his hometown of Okinawa. Yamashiro, whose vision of the next work can be seen during the production process, will exhibit new works centered on research in Okinawa and past works that lead to it.
