A citizen participation type work based on the theme of “People's Wishes,” centered on the work “Memory of Shuri Castle,” which a contemporary artist living in Berlin conceived after being shocked by images of the Shurijo Castle fire and created using damaged tiles of Shurijo Castle. Three installations are on display, including works that connect “things that people value” with threads.

・From the end of January, the curtains on the outside of the small studio will be opened, and the exhibition format will be changed so that the works can be viewed from the outside without entering the small studio.
・The exhibition period was extended by 2 weeks and the end date was changed from 2/20 to 3/6.
・The entrance time of the small studio was changed from 2/1 to 12:00 to 20:00.
01/ Breathing life into the tiles of Shurijo Castle
