Moonstar, a Japanese shoe brand founded 140 years ago, is engaged in making shoes for Japanese people from adults to children.
The Fine Vulcanize series, which is made with many years of technology, is now made in Kurume City, Fukuoka Prefecture, where a valuable domestic factory is located. The vulcanization method in the name is a method of bonding the rubber sole mixed with the upper and vulcanizing agent slowly in the kiln and applying “pressure” and “heat”. By making the vulcanized manufacturing method, the rubber firmly adheres to each other, creating durable shoes that are supple and hard to peel off.

This series contains the notation “MADE IN KURUME” instead of MADE IN JAPAN, with the desire to be recognized as “Kurume Speaking of Japanese sneakers”. The consistent manufacturing attitude of performing and finishing almost all processes in-house supports the work and lives of many people living in the community, and leads to the continued production of good rubber soled shoes. This time, we will introduce various items from the Fine Vulcanize series.
