The Okinawa Prefectural Museum and Art Museum has a collection of cassette tapes from traditional stories recorded throughout Okinawa since 1973. From Kunigami Village to Yonaguni Town, folk tales passed down in each region are the property of precious sounds spoken in the Shimakutuba of that region. In fiscal 2020, we will select 24 stories from the materials and create digital content (Electronic Kamishibai), and this time we will screen videos of 4 episodes. Try to talk about people born in Okinawa about 100 years ago.
