Set in Okinawa at the end of the Pacific War, the last official election governor during the war, Akira Shimada (from Hyogo Prefecture), police manager, retired Arai (from Tochigi Prefecture), and entrusted life to two people while following military orders “The Tower of Shimamori”, a 75-year postwar film that depicts each way of life and suffering, focusing on Okinawan women, Higa Rin. In order to prevent the spread of the new coronavirus infection, postponed the filming of the film to fall 2021 and aim to be released nationwide after 2022, the film was originally scheduled to be released in June 2021. Staged a recitation play in which three actresses appear.
