This permanent exhibition introduces the history and culture of Shuri and Naha from the Middle Ages to the present day through the family records the history of warriors under the theme of “Dynasty Culture and the History of Cities”, administrative documents of Shuri Ofu, and arts and crafts.
This time, as a topic exhibition, is about Seimei, which is widely held on the main island of Okinawa. By using the family music materials held by the Naha City Museum of History, the warriors and the main temple are explained, and the state of the Seimei (Qingming) Festival and the graves and burial items in which the Seimei (Qingming) Festival is held are introduced.
Also, as a centerpiece of this time, the actual family record, the tablet, and the zushi ware that conveys the history of the house are displayed in one place.
Other artifacts such as imported pottery and Goryeo tiles excavated in the excavations of the Higashi Village site where the angel hall was located, where the messengers from China stayed by Chimamise who had jurisdiction over foreign trade, Ryukyu Trade Map folding screens, and materials related to funerals of Shang Tai and Sangen Photographs, exhibits about beach raisers and yukhanuhey.
