This documentary reflects the history of Japanese American society in Hawaii, focusing on the testimonies of Japanese Nisei veterans and 34 spouses. The first film directed by video producer Hiroyuki Matsumoto. He won the 2012 Honolulu Film Award in 2012.

Hawaii, the beginning of Japanese immigrants, was also the beginning of the Nikkei troops. A “Another Japanese History” piece that remembers all the memories of the Nisei, including the old Nikkei society from 34 Nikkei Nisei veterans and their wives, the reality of World War II, and post-war success.
