Toho Sadashi, who published the photo book “The Face of Uchinanchu” (published by The Okinawa Times), and the watercolor painter and essayist Roselle Kawada, who was the subject of the same photo book, will be on stage and talk about the thoughts they put into the shooting.
Faces and messages of 167 Uchinanchu (Okinawans), including Tatsuhiro Oshiro, FUKUHARA Tsuneo, and Sachiko Miyagi, are posted. It is a work made into a standalone book, including unpublished photographs, from the project of the same name, which was serialized from 2019 to 23 in terms of culture. (A5 variant, 348 pages)
